Quartz Bangers for Dab Rigs
A banger is the quartz bowl on a glass dab rig where your concentrate is heated. Quartz is used because it handles high temperatures well and does not add a taste of its own. Choosing the right one mainly comes down to fit and shape.
Which banger do you need?
- The right joint: a banger has to match the joint of your rig. 10 mm and 14 mm are the most common sizes, and bangers come in a 45° or 90° angle. Check the joint size on the product page of your rig.
- Flat-bucket bangers: simple, affordable all-rounders, like the Calvo Flat Bucket Banger 90 and Flat Bucket Banger 45.
- Special shapes: tower, hourglass and terp slurper bangers change the airflow and how the concentrate spreads, such as the Calvo Tower Banger 10 mm and Hourglass Banger.

Wipe out leftover oil with a cotton swab while the banger is warm but no longer hot, and soak it in isopropyl alcohol now and then for a deeper clean.
